8:00-9:00
8:00 Phone alarm Goes off and hit snooze 3 times
8:40 Watched TV (Sports re-cap) In the Cub for 20 mins.
9:05- 10:00
9:10 Professor Used the projector for lecture and went on the internet for examples of project
10:05-11:00
10:05 texted 3 people and called 2
10:10 watched TV for 40 min.
10:55 Made 2 phone calls
11:05- 12:00
11:05 Read Cosmo Magazine
11:30 watched 30 min. of TV while doing home work
12:00- 1:15
12:20 used PRS For class roll and questions during class
1:20-2:00
1:30 Yet again I watched TV in the cub (sports re-caps)
2:05-3:00
2:10 My professor used the projector for our math lesson and also used the text and calculator for the class
3:05-4:00
3:10 I used the internet to publish my posts for the week
3:50 texted 4 people for 20 min.
4:05-5:00
4:10 Turned on my ipod and listened to it while i did homework
5:05-6:00
5:30 Went to the cub and listened to the music that they were playing while I was eating
6:05-7:00
6:30 Turned on TV and watched my show that was on for an hour
7:05-8:00
7:45 Went and did more homework and played a little N64
8:05-9:00
8:10 played skate on X-box and Super smash Bro's on N64 for 50 min.
9:05-10:00
9:10 Watched movie with 5 or 6 people (Nick and Nora's Infinite play list)
10:05-11:00
10:55 finished movie and played around on my computer
11:05-12:00
11:40 Went to bed!!
Wow!! I never would have guessed to how much media I was exposed to. Even though my log wasn't 16 hours it was fairly close I w it even if it's not my type of show! I am so consumed by it, it's like I'm an addict of TV I just love to as still exposed to many types of media that I didn't even realize. I know that I use my phone a lot but not as much as I did in one day... no wonder I have such a big bill.
I never really realized that if there is a TV playing I'll watch whatever is on. I get so sucked in by the fast changing clips and sounds I don't even think twice about what is playing or what I could be doing! TV has changed the way that many people look at the world. On a weekly basis I can watch anywhere from 8-15 hours of TV.
Even in the classrooms media effects the way I live my day to day life. I remember when they didn't have projectors and everything was written on the chalk board or white board. With all the advances in technology for day to day learning and living the way that kids and adults go about their day has changed so much in the last 18 years! Our era is the technology era. We all must accept that this and learn new ways of teaching the youth to transform the future! Media is around us, it consumes us, the media is us!

I am actually very surprised to see how different our consumption was. While we used similar sources I noticed your emphasis on where the media was coming from (eg. internet, phone, etc.) whereas I focused on what the media was (eg. a brand, a logo, a type of video, etc.) It was just an interesting observation. It is fun to look at what people did throughout their day; I feel like you can really get to know someone just by seeing life through their eyes for a day.
